It’s sad to note that, the one and only Regina Mutoko is no more. The OMO
pick a box show host and the beloved sister of the radio star presenter
Caroline Mutoko, passed on after a bathroom accident a few weeks ago. However,
the government pathologists told the
Nation
that she died as a result of a clot in the lung. The pathologist Johansen Oduor
said that Ms Mutoko suffered Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), where blood clotted in
her lung and the right leg.
The condition, referred to as pulmonary embolism, could have been caused by
the detachment of a clot that travels to the lungs. Dr Oduor told
Nation that
other samples had also been collected for microscopy and toxicology tests.
This then may have caused the vomiting found
in her house on Saturday, which may have been caused by lack

Regina Mutoko was the daughter to Rev & Mrs Mutoko and a younger sister
of the Kiss 100 presenter Caroline Mutoko.
Before her demise she was the ICT director at United States
International University. The university management through the USIU’s -Africa
vice chancellor Freida A. Brown sent their condolences to her family, friends
and colleagues.
In another statement by
the university read “The entire USIU-Africa community sends its condolences to
the family, friends and colleagues of Ms Regina Mutoko ICT Director who passed
away this morning following injuries sustained during a fall. We have lost a
dedicated and consummate professional whose transformational leadership was
felt far beyond her division and the university,”

Even her sister Caroline Mutoko expressed her sadness
through a post on the social media pages, paying tribute to her departed
sibling. “My sister and best friend, Regina Kalombe Mutoko got her
angel wings yesterday. A golden heart stopped beating, a brilliant soul is laid
to rest. God broke our hearts to prove he only takes the best. His will be
done. May her soul rest in eternal peace. Amen.”
